Description: Do you know the federal or state requirements for hiring employees? Do you know how to hire the right people the first time? If you answered no to either of the above questions, then this is the workshop for you. Topics include federal and state hiring requirements, wage and hour/ employment related laws, I-9 compliance, recruiting best practices, determining the cost of hiring an employee and much more. This workshop is intended for businesses with LESS than 50 employees.

Instructions: Cost is $10 per business (maximum of 2 people per business). Please bring a check made out to Shippensburg University SBDC. You may pay by cash (exact amount) at the door. It will be located at the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, 4211 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011
