Description: Ever signed a contract you couldn't get out of? Negotiating leases, insurance and supplier contracts can get you in the legal hot seat really quick. That's why you need to understand how to navigate business contracts before you work out that next deal. •This workshop provides an overview of the basic elements of contracts and the different types of contracts (employment, suppliers, customers, etc.) as well as what particular situations warrant attorney consultation. •Learn what you need to know when it comes to basic contract structures and their terms, conditions and provisions. •Learn what to do if you or the other party(ies) need to terminate, dispute or transfer a contract. •Examination of key areas of stockholder (shareholder) agreements and partnership agreement provisions (capital contributions, capital accounts, obligations of parties, termination of partnership etc.) SkarlatosZonarich LLC, a law firm in Harrisburg, will be presenting this workshop.
